Welcome to Farm School!

As we enter into another school year here at Forte Farms, we just want to say thank you to all the families who take part in our educational program, our camp, and our farm community. Every year, since starting this program, we have seen so much growth with our students! And every year we are amazed at the opportunities that are being given to us. What started out as a simple “I wonder if anyone else is looking for a program like this?” has turned into a a beautiful community of friends and families who have a shared desire to reclaim some of the most essential elements of a child’s education. Our goal has always been to share with you what we LOVE doing and give you and your students a chance to be apart of this place we are blessed to call our home.

This year, I will be using both this (the Farm School blog) and your personal e-mails to update you on all things farm school! I will also be posting about our progress throughout the year and sharing any helpful tips/resources/nature-based lesson plans I find as I enter this new chapter of homeschooling an elementary aged student! Please know, while certain information will be shared (such as the academic calendar, yearly progress, resources for families etc.) no personal information of our families will be shared.

This year’s academic calendar and supply list will be released later this week so keep your eyes out for that via e-mail and here on the website. We cannot wait for another amazing year ahead!
